Last weekend was full with open houses and kenduri and I just had to turned down some invitation by some close friends. Banyak sangat tu takde lah tapi kalau dah sampai 4, 5 undangan and the places wasn’t that near to each other, I had to make plans for which is easier
Sabtu tu, me and my classmates attended one of our close friends open house in Seri Kembangan. We didn’t take a long time to reach her house sebab memang dah sampai sebelum ni. Lost is not a thing coz we already knew the place. Takde lah susah sangat pun sebab aku memang dah familiar dengan area tu. Sampai aje, apa lagi sessi mentedarah lah. Yelah, we all arrived there a little bit late coz my friend had to run some errands and I had to do some work. Laksa Sarawak, Spaghetti, Sate (I ate close to 30 sticks of lemang!), Lemang (dah abis dah masa aku sampai tu!), nasi lemak (sorry! I don’t take nasi lemak during lunch) and some tit-bits. Kenyang siot!
After that, kitorang headed straight to another classmate yang dah memang The Missing in action. So, we called her up and told her yang kitorang akan datang rumah dia after that. Haaaaa! Ini yang satu masalahnya. Her place was deeply deserted and it’s not easily accessible. Jenuh kitorang pusing pergi balik dari Seri Kembangan ke Bukit Jalil sampaikan dah nak sampai Puchong balik dah pun. Calling our friend was not a help sebab dia sendiri tak tau macam mana nak head us to her house. What? Jalan rumah sendiri pun tarak tau ke? My heart was cursing “Hell! You live in the deep jungle is it?”So, kena lah call laki dia pulak, who successfully lead us to her house walaupun laki dia tu takde kat rumah. Sampai aje kat rumah dia, apa lagik! Sessi Cit Cat Azwan Ali pun bermula lah.! Habis kitorang hentam cukup-cukup. Only after that, sessi melantak pun bermula.
It is always nice to gather among friends and talked for hours about everything. Lotsa things to catch up and lotsa stories to share. Gelak sampai tak ingat dunia dibuatnya. Lepas Maghrib aje baru we decided to make a move coz it was getting a little bit too late.
On Sunday, invitations were close by.Alah, dekat-dekat dengan rumah aku aje. This time, there’s 3 events which is 2 open houses and 1 kenduri. Started my day dengan lunch at the kenduri. Jiran aku buat kenduri sebab cucunya berkhatan and anaknya khatam Al-Quran. (budak 2 orang tu punya jarak umur tak jauh. Beza beberapa tahun aje). Right after that, selang beberapa rumah dari rumah aku, jiran aku buat open house. Makan lagik. But this time I am just going light because after this I have another open house to attend to. So, I decided to feast my appetite on roti jala aje. Jadik lah. Kalau tak makan karang, apa pulak katanya kan? Aku ni kan jenis tak reti nak hampakan permintaan orang. (hehehee…)
The final event of the day is my colleague’s open house. Pun dekat dengan rumah aku jugak. Ada lah dalam sepemanggil aje jaraknya. Kira dekat sangat lah tu. Menu yang dia hidangkan, mee kari, nasi himpit, kuah kacang and some other food yang aku tak ingat sangat. By this time, aku dah kenyang sangat dah pun. Makan sangat takde lah sebab perut aku dah kembung kekenyangan dah. Aku cuma makan tembikai aje sambil diselangi dengan pengambilan nikotin yang diambil dengan kadar yang banyak.
Well, that’s about wraps up my weekend. All in all, I enjoyed it. Penuh dengan jemputan, makan, borak-borak, rokok, rokok dan rokok. Takde apa-apa yang istimewa pun cuma memenuhi undangan kawan-kawan aku aje. Tak datang nanti kata apa pulak kan?
But in other news, I was not able to make it to some of my friends’ open houses. It was unintentional but time was just not permissible for me to fill those invitations. Bayangkan lah, aku nak travel from my hometown in Kg. Melayu Subang to Seri Kembangan to Bukit Jalil and to Keramat (I think!). So, my trip was only up to Bukit Jalil and I didn’t make it to Keramat (Again, I think!). Lagipun masa tu dah lewat sangat and all this open houses and food has taken a toll on me.( Aku dah sakit perut sangat dah masa tu!). So, balik aje lah and prepare myself to kena cit-cat pulak on Monday.
Ada one more invitiation on Sunday that I have to turn down. Not because it was too far in Rawang but my days was just too filled with nearby invitiations.
Iron Board, my thousand apologies sebab memang tak dapat datang rumah kau. I know I promised earlier to come tapi memang aku takde kesempatan nak makan.
So, the purpose of this long and winding entry was only to say
